How can monthly bank fees be avoided?
Keep at least the minimum balance required in your account. This helps to avoid monthly fees and accidental overdrafts. Keep multiple accounts at your bank. Many banks are looking at the entire customer relationship and may offer free services if you maintain both checking and savings accounts with them, for example.
The most effective way of minimising fees is to avoid paper-based and over-the-counter transactions. If you are writing cheques to pay for regular payments, check to see if alternatives are available - these generally have lower fees: Direct Debit.
Account holders can tend to get out of their monthly fees by opening both a checking and a savings account at the same bank or by maintaining a minimum balance in your account. Sometimes, setting up a monthly direct deposit is enough to waive the monthly fee.

A bank or credit union may charge a monthly maintenance fee in order to keep your checking account or savings account open. Not every financial institution charges these fees—and the ones that do may not apply the charges to every type of account.
Monthly Service Fee
Also called a maintenance fee. The bank might charge a fee each month, just for having the account. You might also be charged a fee if your balance drops below the required minimum.
nbkc bank Everything Account
There is no monthly maintenance fee and no minimum monthly balance or activity requirement. Everything Account holders also get access to more than 37,000 fee-free ATMs in the MoneyPass network, and nbkc will reimburse up to $12 of U.S. out-of-network ATM fees per month.

Are bank monthly fees tax deductible?
If your bank or credit card company charges annual or monthly service charges, transfer fees, or overdraft fees, these are deductible. You can also deduct merchant or transaction fees paid to a third-party payment processor, such as PayPal or Stripe.

Checking account fees Advantage Plus Banking
Bank of America Advantage Plus has a $100 minimum opening deposit and a $12 monthly maintenance fee which can be waived if you do one of the following: Make at least one qualifying Direct Deposit of $250 or more. Maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,500 or more.
Unless your bank has set a withdrawal limit of its own, you are free to take as much out of your bank account as you would like. It is, after all, your money. Here's the catch: If you withdraw $10,000 or more, it will trigger federal reporting requirements.
Both Wells Fargo and Bank of America can be good choices for low-income earners since the direct deposit minimums are not overly burdensome.

Can I write off my car purchase as a business expense?
If you use your car only for business purposes, you may deduct its entire cost of ownership and operation (subject to limits discussed later). However, if you use the car for both business and personal purposes, you may deduct only the cost of its business use.
However, we generally recommend categorizing bank fees as financial expenses. This is because bank fees are typically considered to be expenses that are incurred in the course of running your business, and are not directly related to the production of your product or service.

- Income, sales, real estate and personal property taxes.
Person to Person payments (such as Zelle®) are not considered a direct deposit. Micro-deposits do not qualify as a direct deposit for the bonus. Micro-deposits are small deposits, typically less than $1, that are sent to your account to verify it is the correct account.
Banks charge these fees to cover any overhead or perks associated with the account, including overdraft coverage, ATM usage, and more. Several Chase checking accounts come with monthly service fees, but the bank will also waive the fee if you meet certain requirements for that account on a monthly basis.
